Hit the Road Safely: Operate roll-off trucks and ancillary equipment to collect and transport waste to post-collection facilities efficiently.
Inspect & Protect: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections route sheet updates and truck reports to ensure your vehicle remains in top condition.
Safety First: Follow all company federal state/provincial and local safety rules. Report any hazards accidents or mechanical issues immediately to your supervisor or lead.
Customer Champion: Represent the GFL brand with a positive attitude professional appearance and exceptional customer service on every route.
Precision & Pride: Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times keep your truck cab clean and collaborate with your team to optimize route efficiency.
Experience/License: Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required with a minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR a CDL school certificate.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Skills: Ability to maneuver heavy equipment safely complete daily paperwork/inspections and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Physical Demands: Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods (up to 75% of the day) performing physical checks and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
Adaptability: Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and high-traffic environments.
