The Opportunity

Williams International has an R&O Technician in our FAA-certified Repair Station. As an R&O Technician you will work with a team of specialists on our turbine engine products. Responsibilities include assembly disassembly test cleaning of parts and rework of components and container and engine preparation for shipment.

Additionally the R&O Technician will:

  • Assemble disassemble clean and conduct rework of gas turbine engines and related components. Assignments are accomplished by following process plans general work instructions and/or engine manuals.
  • Stamp work at completion of the operation to ensure compliance to engine manual and quality requirements.
  • Conduct the visual inspection of hardware and record findings on the applicable forms.
  • Maintain work area in accordance with established 6S standards.
  • Document time charges accurately and honestly.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • 2 years of heavy mechanic experience or 1 year directly working with Williams International gas turbine engines preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret sketches/drawings and inspection equipment required.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • A&P license is preferred.
  • Physical lifting requirements include: ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches) capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
