Shift: DaysMonday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Specialty Clinic team in Moab Utah. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various medical specialties in an outpatient setting.

The RN will be responsible for patient assessments telephone triage patient education medication administration and care coordination. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an outpatient clinic in accordance with established standards of practice.
• Triage incoming patient calls assess patient needs and provide appropriate guidance within the scope of licensure.
• Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Obtain patient histories perform screenings counsel patients and provide education.
• Administer vaccinations and medications safely.
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and examinations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Follow infection prevention patient safety and medication safety protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and perform other assigned duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Utah RN license or a valid compact state RN license.
• Knowledge of infection control patient safety and prevention of adverse medication or treatment reactions.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
• Proficiency with computer systems data entry and electronic medical records.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. independently and heavier weights with assistance.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
• Reliable attendance punctuality and flexibility.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Previous outpatient nursing experience.
• Experience in family practice surgical centers gynecology (GYN) or similar clinical settings.
