We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care nursing skills excellent clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The RN-ICU will be responsible for monitoring patients administering medications and treatments collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team and providing safe patient-centered care.

Job Summary:

The RN-ICU will be responsible for monitoring patients administering medications and treatments collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team and providing safe patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients.
- Monitor patients vital signs cardiac rhythms and overall clinical condition.
- Assess patient needs and recognize changes in condition promptly.
- Administer medications treatments and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment and technology.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Follow infection control patient safety and hospital policies and procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status.
- Maintain professional standards and promote a safe supportive patient-care environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state of practice.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- Two years of relevant critical care/ICU nursing experience preferred.
- Telemetry experience preferred.
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire/assignment.
- PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months if the assignment/engagement extends to six months.
- TNCC certification preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Knowledge of critical care nursing practices and procedures.
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
