Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide appropriate clinical interventions.
- Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments.
- Support procedures involving coronary intervention structural heart procedures peripheral intervention and other invasive cardiology services.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in Epic.
- Collaborate with cardiologists procedural staff and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies and clinical standards.
- Provide appropriate patient education and post-procedure care.
- 2 years of relevant Cath Lab experience
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic experience required
- Strong knowledge of invasive cardiology procedures
- Ability to work a 410-hour day shift
- Ability to participate in required call rotation
- Cath Lab Skills/Experience
