Risk Analytics Analyst Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Risk Analytics Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Minneapolis MN. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

In this role the candidate will participate in moderately complex initiatives identifying opportunities for process improvements within Risk Analytics. This position requires advanced Excel abilities and a strong background in finance or accounting specifically with securities investment accounting and bond instruments. The ideal candidate will also have experience with regression testing.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Risk Analytics
• Review and analyze basic or tactical Risk Analytics assignments or challenges that require research evaluation and selection of alternatives
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations
• Exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function policies procedures and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• 2 years of Risk Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience training military experience education
• A minimum of 1 years of regression testing experience
• Minimum 2 years advanced finance or accounting experience with exposure to securities accounting investment accounting bond instruments calculation methodologies and a solid understanding of bonds
• A minimum of 2 years of Advanced Excel Skills must demonstrate experience with filtering and sorting grouping pivot tables data import and parsing and using features like Text to Columns
• Must be able to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week

Desired skills:

• SimCorp Regression Testing Experience

Pay range: $36.56 - $44.56 per hour
