RF Systems Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking RF Systems Engineers in Marietta Georgia for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will design analyze integrate and test RF systems and circuitry used in high-frequency and microwave applications including antennas transmitters receivers amplifiers frequency-conversion components and related communications hardware.

• Bachelors degree in RF Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
• 5 years of relevant RF electrical or communications engineering experience.
• 35 years of experience developing communication systems involving radios antennas and/or related communication subsystems.
• 3 years of experience using High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS).
• Experience designing or analyzing RF systems subsystems or circuitry.
• Experience supporting high-frequency or microwave applications.
• Experience with RF hardware development component evaluation prototype construction and testing.
• Ability to develop and evaluate RF system and subsystem architectures.
• Experience performing RF performance analysis and technical trade studies.
• Ability to develop test methods and specifications and analyze RF hardware performance.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

• Experience designing developing and integrating communication systems.
• Proficiency with systems engineering processes.
• Experience performing RF co-site analysis.
• Antenna-pattern analysis experience.
• Experience developing and analyzing RF link budgets.
• Experience with the Ansys RF analysis suite including EMIT.
• Knowledge of military or government programs.
• C-130 aircraft experience.

• Architect and design RF systems and circuitry.
• Develop RF circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications.
• Support design of receivers transmitters antennas frequency synthesizers amplifiers and related RF hardware.
• Develop RF system and subsystem architectures.
• Perform hardware layout and component evaluations.
• Support prototype construction integration and testing.
• Develop test methods and technical specifications.
• Analyze and test RF hardware to verify performance requirements.
• Perform link analysis and optimization including propagation and interference effects.
• Develop and allocate RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.
• Identify and track technical performance measures.
• Conduct system subsystem and component trade studies.
• Support cost reliability availability and maintainability analyses.
• Provide technical input for formal product-development documentation.
• Support manufacturing during hardware assembly and test.

• Up to $65.00 per hour.
• Overtime eligible after 40 hours.
