TheEffector Guidance ElectronicsDepartmentis seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion todevelop complex Radio Frequency (RF) systems subsystems and components including antennas RF circuit cards and RF test-equipment. A successful candidate is one who functions well in a multi-disciplined team properly applies engineering tools and processes and is a self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to is an entry-level Mechanical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and professional interest in the application of technical mechanical standards principles concepts and techniques.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems

• Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF products designs

• Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinating fabrication

• Perform hands on integration and test support for prototype hardware

• Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience

• Experience performing design and / or analysis throughout the product life cycle to include use of three dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

• Experience with creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering

• Experience performing design and / or analysis for the packaging of RF products (e.g. Circuit Card Assemblies antennas radomes RF test equipment harnesses and interconnects)

• Experience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric).

• Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging.

• Experience with harness and interconnect design.

• Experience creating engineering drawings.

• Experience fabricating prototype designs.

• Familiarity with the application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experience working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team.

• Experience performing tolerance analysis.

• Self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from many communities and cultures.

• Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent different types of work and conflict resolution styles.

This position is an on-site role located in Huntsville AL and is eligible for relocation assistance.

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
