Job Summary
Retirement Financial Consultants at Manulife John Hancock Wealthhave the opportunity tospend more time working with an established book of clients servicing their needs building trust and deepening relationships rather than performing cold call prospecting. A strong and growing pipeline of accounts is being opened into this channel creating meaningful opportunities to proactively engage clients understand their goals and help them make informed decisions about retirement planning and investments.
As a vital member of our employee-channel phone-based team you will deliver financial education and guidance that helps clients pursue their desired retirement outcomes while contributing to client retention relationship growth and asset growth. You will have access to coaching resources shared best practices and senior advisor support within a highly collaborative team structure. You will also have opportunities to strengthen your advisory skills and advance into more senior financial advisor roles as the business grows.

Position Responsibilities:
Client Engagement and Relationship Deepening
- Serve as a vital member of our employee-channel phone-based team providing financial education guidance and fundamental solutions to existing IRA clients and referrals from other service centers.
- Respond to inbound calls assess client needs and help clients make informed investment decisions.
- Quickly analyze each clients circumstances present relevant options and provide a consultative high-quality service experience.
- Educate clients on retirement and investment concepts and identify opportunities to deepen relationships and gather additional assets.
- Work collaboratively and refer clients who require more sophisticated advice to senior advisors on the team.
- Assist clients with account and investment questions including asset movement trading and day-to-day service inquiries.
- Deliver an outstanding client experience while supporting clients through their decision-making process.
- Achieve monthly productivity targets including timely follow-up on sales leads and client opportunities.
Practice Management and Professional Development
- Stay informed about market trends retirement regulations economic indicators and financial planning topics.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the range of Manulife John Hancock Wealth offerings and solutions available to clients.
- Participate in training and coaching programs designed to strengthen skills and create opportunities for advancement.
- Share successful client engagement practices and ideas for continuous improvement within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- FINRA SIE and Series 7 63. 65 licenses required within 90 days of being hired.
- Three to five years of financial services experience preferably in phone-based and/or sales roles.
- Bachelors degree preferred.

Salary range is expected to be between
$40000.00 USD - $66700.00 USDEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
