Retail Counter Sales Associate – Customer Service Focus

Do you excel at delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in a retail environment We are seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Associate to join our team and enhance the customer experience every day.

In this role you will be responsible for managing daily store operations that include driving sales providing expert product knowledge and ensuring a welcoming store environment. This contract-to-hire position is based in Brooklyn Park MN with a pay rate of $20 per hour and a 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM shift. You will also handle inventory management shipment recording and occasional managerial tasks such as scheduling and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience through daily store operations.
• Manage inventory and record shipments accurately.
• Maintain the stores appearance to high standards.
• Occasionally perform managerial tasks such as scheduling ordering and overseeing opening and closing procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with the team using strong organizational and communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Commitment to completing all required training.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both sit-down and stand-up forklifts is preferred.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
