Job Summary
We are seeking a Retail Associate to support customer engagement and retail-focused brand programs. This position works as part of a team supporting retail events product initiatives and other customer-facing activities designed to create an organized and positive experience for customers.
The Retail Associate will become familiar with participating products and services assist customers with questions maintain presentation areas and help ensure scheduled retail activities are executed professionally.
- Welcome customers and provide friendly professional assistance
- Answer questions regarding featured products services and current offerings
- Help customers understand product features differences and available options
- Maintain current knowledge of products and services associated with assigned programs
- Support product demonstrations and informational activities
- Assist with retail events product launches seasonal programs and other scheduled initiatives
- Prepare product displays informational materials signage and customer-facing areas
- Ensure displays and materials remain organized and properly presented throughout scheduled activities
- Distribute approved product and promotional information
- Monitor product and material availability during retail programs
- Replenish displays supplies and informational materials as necessary
- Gather customer questions comments and feedback for the team
- Communicate frequently asked questions and customer observations to appropriate team members
- Assist with setup and breakdown of displays and materials
- Follow established brand and presentation guidelines
- Coordinate with team members regarding customer needs and program requirements
- Maintain an organized and professional customer environment
- Support additional retail and brand activities based on scheduled program needs
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associates degree or coursework in Business Marketing Communications Retail Management or a related field preferred 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail customer service hospitality events merchandising brand programs or another customer-facing environment preferred Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Friendly professional and approachable demeanor Comfortable communicating directly with customers Ability to learn and accurately explain product and service information Strong listening and customer assistance skills Good organization and attention to detail Ability to maintain professional product and display presentation Dependable and punctual Comfortable working in active customer-facing environments Ability to adapt to different products programs and scheduled activities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Availability for scheduled retail programs including occasional evenings or weekends when required
