About the Role

A Potbelly Shift Leader brings the team together to make lunch something customers look forward to. Youll lead by examplekeeping the energy high the service fast and friendly and the food consistently great in a clean inviting environment.

What Youll Do

• Oversee smooth shift operations and create a positive guest experience
• Lead and support team members assign tasks and provide feedback
• Follow all safety security and opening/closing procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain food safety quality and cleanliness standards
• Manage labor food costs and waste
• Handle cash procedures and balance drawers accurately

Basic Qualifications

• You can handle potential allergens: peanut products egg dairy gluten soy seafood and shellfish
• You can handle the ambient heat of the kitchen
• Youre at least 18 years old
• Youre able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours or as needed
• Youre able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds occasionally

You are applying to work with a franchisee of Potbelly Corporate. If hired the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set own terms of employment including wage and benefit programs which can vary between franchisees.
