Harrison Meadows Country Club located in Harrison NY is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Restaurant Hostess! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon youll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
The Restaurant Hostess is the first and last point of contact for guests responsible for creating a welcoming professional and organized dining experience. This role manages reservations seating flow and guest communication while supporting front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional service standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly professional first impression
- Manage reservations waitlists and table assignments using the POS or reservation system
- Escort guests to tables and present menus in a timely manner
- Maintain an accurate seating chart to ensure balanced service among servers
- Monitor dining room activity and communicate wait times effectively
- Answer phones take reservations and respond to guest inquiries
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- Coordinate with servers managers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary
