Job Summary

 The Resource Room Coordinator manages all functions of the resource room and provides superior customer service to all clients.

  • Manage the overall operations of the Resource Room
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining rules and regulations
  • Respond to clients questions and provide assistance as needed
  • Maintain the neatness and appearance of the Resource Room
  • Handle the assignment of computers to clients
  • Ensure that clients manually sign the roster lists in the Resource Room completing all required information
  • Distribute material printed by Resource Room clients to the proper client
  • Fax and photocopy materials for clients
  • Manage use of the telephone and scanner as needed
  • Additional data entry and client responsibilities as required

Qualifications :

  • College degree preferred in related field or equivalent experience working with special populations
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in the social services human resources teaching or advisement fields
  • Ability to assess individual skills with precision and make appropriate referrals
  • Ability to problem solve and work with a diverse customer base
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a performance metric/results-oriented environment
