Introduction

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Residential Elevator Mechanicposition. This position is a direct placement opportunity which is expected to be on site in Tampa FL.

Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Elevator Mechanic with exceptional mechanical skills professional interpersonal communication and a can-do attitude to join our installation team. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills are a must as the ideal candidate will be able to utilize their troubleshooting & diagnostic abilities to install various types of elevators & lifts.

What Youll Do

Ability to work independently and with a team
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
Excellent mechanical and electronic skills
Strong appetite for learning and professional development
Familiarity with common hand and power tools
Willingness to travel up to 80%
Ability to lift up to 150 lbs.
Familiarity with electronic electro-mechanical and fluid-powered (hydraulic) systems
(Required) Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
(Preferred) Experience with circuit boards PLCs and DC control circuits

Install residential elevators and wheelchair lifts
Work as a team of two installers on job sites
Learn & teach new team members
Multi-task with patience and diligence
Demonstrate and maintain a clean driving record
Safety awareness & compliance
Develop safety code and regulatory knowledge
Operate general computer equipment/devices
Interface with general contractors and customers directly
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills (Preferred)

Certified Elevator Technician or Elevator Mechanic License preferred
