Residential Advisor Third Shift

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students in the residential program during overnight hours
• Foster a positive respectful community that promotes student retention achievement and independence
• Guide students in developing key life skills such as:
• Waking up and preparing for the day
• Maintaining personal hygiene and living areas
• Time management and punctuality for class
• Completing homework and laundry
• Engaging in recreational and group activities
• Use sound judgment and discretion to resolve student concerns and conflicts
• Maintain detailed case notes and documentation of student interactions and behavior
• Participate in seasonal cleaning and dormitory updates
• Serve as a positive role model at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
• Minimum of one yearexperience working with teens or young adults
• Valid drivers licensewith a good driving record
• Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and other relevant databases
• Mature dependable and well-organized
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Must be punctual remain awake and alert throughout the shift and provide advance notice of absences
