Job Summary

General Summary of Position:

The Ghezzi Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking a highly motivated full-time Research Laboratory Technician to join an NIH-funded research program focused on investigating hostmicrobiome interactions in the human oral mucosa. This project leverages advanced in vitro tissue models to study hostpathogen interactions integrating tissue engineering multi-omics analysis and functional characterization. The Research Technician will play a key role in experimental design and execution data collection and analysis and mentoring trainees at multiple levels. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in tissue engineering and molecular/functional assays. Prior work with bacterial culture systems is desirable but not required.
