JOB SUMMARY

Accufile is seeking an experienced part-time remote Research & Knowledge Services Researcher to support our clients Marketing & Business Development team. This remote role requires 1520 hours per week with work performed between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday and frequent communication with the marketing team.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support business generation tracking including updating court dockets identifying case details and entering and maintaining records into a CRM system.

• Conduct research on attorneys competitors litigation case lists and documents and other topical or legal matters as needed using internal and external resources.

• Search for and review legal filings (e.g. reports testimony and related court filings) using legal research databases.

• Assist with data entry and the maintenance of team databases.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• MLS or MLIS degree or a minimum of three years of related legal research experience required.

• Prior experience using legal research databases such as CourtLink Lexis Lex Machina and Westlaw required.

• Familiarity with AI-powered research tools and analytics platforms with the ability to integrate emerging technologies into research workflows.

• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to organize plan prioritize work and meet deadlines.

• Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.

• A 6-month minimum commitment is required.
