Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support process engineering initiatives by troubleshooting operational challenges analyzing data and researching practical solutions to improve plant performance

• Collaborate with production operators engineers and maintenance personnel to identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational enhancement

• Assist with capital projects by supporting project planning data collection equipment evaluations contractor coordination and project execution activities

• Review and update process documentation including P&IDs standard operating procedures (SOPs) and engineering records to ensure accuracy and alignment with current operations

• Conduct field observations gather process data and evaluate equipment and system performance to support engineering recommendations

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety efficiency reliability and operational excellence

• Communicate engineering findings project updates and recommended solutions to cross-functional teams

• Take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities demonstrating increasing independence and technical capability throughout the co-op experience.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Mechanical Agriculture Systems and/or Process Engineering

• Junior standing with minimum 3.0 GPA required

• Strong communication problem solving and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

• 0-2 years relevant experience required
