Remote Title Insurance Underwriter- Work from Home

We arelooking for a Title Underwriter to work for a Law Firm in Virginia Beach. This is 100% remote work and will only report to the office for a week for training.

As a Title Underwriter you will provide comprehensive title insurance coverage and professional services for purchases construction refinances or equity loans. Provide thorough searches title clearance and insurance help to produce clear property titles and enable the efficient transfer of real estate.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must know VA and MD.
• Ability to work in an accurate detail-oriented and highly productive manner. .
• Working knowledge of basic real estate title concepts.
• Working knowledge of legal documents and how they affect title to real property.
• Familiarity with title insurance commitment and policy format and all procedures required to prepare sameincluding abstracting title examinations survey analysis etc.
• Familiarity with SoftPropreferred ;
• Familiarity with plotting metes and bounds legal descriptions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and tasks requiring detail concentration and accuracy;
• Demonstrated excellent problem solving capability and analytical ability.
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
