Job Summary:
- Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment processes utilities facilities control loops and safety/security systems.
- Defines develops administers and refines the preventive/predictive maintenance program.
- Reduces and improves maintenance work wherever feasible; assuring efficient and productive operation of plant process and equipment; while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets; all at the least (optimal) cost practical.
- Provides technical advice to maintenance and proprietors.
- Serving in a staff capacity the function relieves maintenance supervisors and planner/schedulers of those responsibilities which are engineering in nature.
- Reliability engineering is dedicated to addressing day-to-day problems of the maintenance organization.
Required:
- 5 years in manufacturing as an reliability engineer managing capital project life cycles.
- Experience in plant electrical projects equipment installation and hand-off to operations.
- Collaborative experience in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors of Engineering
Preferred:
- Bachelor of engineering in mechanical engineering or reliablity engineering
- Experience in extrusion casting fabrication and mill-grade equipment
