Reliability Engineer

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers food service customers and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry beef egg alternative protein salt oils starches sweeteners cocoa and chocolate.
As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer you will apply technical knowledge to deliver continuous improvement in principles and problem-solving techniques in asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. You will repair and perform preventative maintenance to ensure the most efficient operation while taking a proactive approach to new equipment this role you will partner with the team on tasks ranging from simple part replacement advanced troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance interventions ensuring that equipment is properly configured and/or set up.
- Implement moderately complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.
- Execute the development design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology in alignment with the area procedures.
- Prepare technical reviews of moderately complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.
- Perform the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
- Collaborate with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related production work experience
- Experience in Production Maintenance or Project Management
- Knowledge in maintenance process management
- Background in rotating equipment seals piping pumps fans blowers and material handling equipment.
- Experience creating complex tests and analysis
- Predictive maintenance technologies experience
- Experience with SAP

Location: Blair NE
Work Schedule: Varies around 7:30 AM 4:30 PM Monday to Friday. There are also some events that might need to work weekends/on call.
