Unit Notes
- Unit: RT
**must have travel experience and 2-5 years experience in critical care**
- # beds: 267 Covers ICU and all other medsurg/tele areas
- Certs: ACLS BLS NRP PALS - NPS if want to work in NICU state of CA requires RRT (will not accept CRT)
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Charge RT on 24/7
- Weekend Requirement: every other weekend
- Holidays: Expect to work most holidays
- Scrub Color: Black
- Tele: Client
- Vents: Hamilton G5 C1 MR1 Galileos
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist 24/7
- IV Team: NO
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: 12 hrs 6-630 weekends are assigned some flexibility for week schedules schedules made out about 3-4 weeks in advance block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
- Floating: To all areas except NICU
- Floor specific orientation: 2 days
- Common diagnosis/Types of patients: COPD Asthma Client CHF. Common duties include breathing treatments ABGs EKGs NIV HFNC therapy IPV PEP/PAP therapy etc.
