Registered Nurse (RN)

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care for an 11-year-old boy in Rindge NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring nurse who enjoys working with pediatric clients and is passionate about helping children live safe comfortable and fulfilling lives at home.

Our client is a non-verbal wheelchair-dependent child who requires assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ongoing skilled nursing support. He has a G-tube and requires attentive compassionate care throughout his after-school routine.

The ideal candidate will be dependable patient and comfortable providing one-on-one care in a home setting while supporting the childs comfort safety independence and overall quality of life.

• 3:30 PM9:30 PM

• 30 hours per week

• Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the clients home

• Provide care and monitoring related to the clients G-tube

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide wheelchair-related care and assistance with mobility and positioning

• Monitor the clients condition and report changes appropriately

• Follow the individualized plan of care and physician-directed orders

• Maintain a safe clean and supportive environment

• Communicate effectively with the family and healthcare team

• Encourage participation in age-appropriate activities and support the clients overall quality of life

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred

• Experience with G-tube care preferred

• Experience caring for children with complex medical or physical needs preferred

• Current CPR certification required
  (Interim HealthCare offers monthly CPR renewal classes at no cost to employees.)

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to safely assist with the physical demands of the position
