Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Participates in patient care activities for the patient population(s) served including direct patient care indirect patient care patient rounds consultation multidisciplinary care planning and evaluation.

• Collaborates with other health team members to develop implement and evaluate quality programs to meet the needs of population(s) served in a cost-effective manner.

• Develops provides and evaluates educational programs to meet the identified needs of the population(s) served including patients families staff and the community.

• Monitors and ensures accuracy of documentation on patient records. Maintains all required reports records and statistics related to program.

• Monitors the quality of care delivered to the population(s) served on a continual basis; identifies quality issues and integrates process improvement (P.I.) into practice.

• May participate in research/investigative studies when indicated.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.

• Experience - Three (3) years of nursing experience.

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer skills

• Mathematical skills

• Working knowledge of Patient Equip (Vitals Suction Defib)
