Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced Full-Time Endoscopy Nurse to join its dynamic team.

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts; shifts vary-Weekdays 7a-5.30p; 7.15a-5.45p; and 8a-6.30p with weeknight weekend and holiday on call required.

Located in western Fairfax County the Fair Oak Hospital Endoscopy Lab is comprised of 6 endo suites performing a comprehensive range of procedures from Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and Colonoscopy to Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography Endo Bariatric procedures and Endoscopic Ultrasound Procedures. We perform over 9000 procedures annually implementing many of the latest Endoscopy Technologies.

Endoscopy RN Qualifications:

• Requires minimum 1 year OR Endo PACU or critical care (ICU/ED) nursing experience
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA is hire; ACLS & PALs for Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA to be completed within 90 days of hire
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Endoscopy RN Preferred Qualifications:

• RN with at least 2 years of prior Endoscopy ICU or ED nursing experience
