As a RN you will utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate care while communicating and documenting observations assessments interventions and changes in condition The RN works collaboratively with physicians rehabilitation professionals direct care staff individuals served and other members of the interdisciplinary team to promote health safety independence and quality of life.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor individuals health identify changes in condition and communicate concerns to physicians and the care team
  • Administer medications provide wound care and implement physician-ordered treatments within the applicable nursing scope of practice
  • Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate timely clinical records medication documentation assessments and required reports
  • Educate individuals served families caregivers and staff on medications treatments and health needs
  • Attend assigned healthcare appointments and team meetings
  • Promote safety follow infection-control procedures and use medical equipment safely
  • Maintain confidentiality nursing competency and required training; perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current unrestricted Michigan RN or LPN license
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing
  • One year of nursing experience
  • TBI experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment medication administration documentation and computer skills
  • Excellent communication organization and multitasking abilities
  • Compassionate culturally respectful care and ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to recognize and respond to health changes while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
