Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in rehabilitation nursing. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to support patients in a rehab setting. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills with a minimum of two years of nursing experience and an active California RN license.
Responsibilities:- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation facility.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Support float assignments to medical-surgical and orthopedic units as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations depending on patient census.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures including infection control and safety standards.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California (pending licenses not accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced rehab environment.
- Experience in medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Weekend work required every other weekend.
- Call requirements depend on patient census.
- Float duties possible to medical-surgical and orthopedic units.
- Return to office (RTO) restrictions: no more than 7 days.
- Shift assignments to be determined; includes weekend rotations every other weekend.
- Possible float shifts across different units depending on staffing needs.
