JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse Manager - Diagnostic Imaging

RN MGR - DIAG IMAGING

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Diagnostic Imaging opportunity will have the following job responsibilities:

  • The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission vision and facility goals.
  • You will identify the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department; taking into account business trends resource availability and changes in customers.
  • You will establish effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients physicians employees volunteers and vendors.
  • You will identify and remedy through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
  • You will work with Senior Management in meeting facility goals.
  • You will provide leadership and direction as well have responsibility for 24-hour operation of the Radiology Department.
  • You will organize supervise and monitor the provision of the specialized clinical services practices and procedures of the Radiology Department; ensure all applicable guidelines for accreditation quality assurance and safe patient care are met.
  • You will share in recruitment and retention activities.
  • You will provide feedback on staff mix ensuring competency of staff through development and regular evaluation and providing disciplinary counseling.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse Manager - Diagnostic Imaging

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Diagnostic Imaging opportunity must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • 5 years of Recent (within the last year) acute Imaging leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engage and cultivate a high-performing team
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a proven ability to develop staff and support professional growth
  • Visible and hands on leaders who maintains a strong presence within the department and readily supports team members in clinical operations when needed
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments build strong stakeholder relationships and drive process improvements that enhance imaging workflows operational efficiency and overall team performance while meeting organizational goals and expectations
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent managerial experience required.
  • Current A.R.R.T. or A.R.D.M.S required
  • Current Texas State License
  • Current BLS required
