About the Role

We are hiring a Registered Nurse ICU for a 13-week day shift assignment in Gardner MA. This role supports critical care patients and requires strong assessment telemetry cardiac monitoring medication administration ventilator care and patient safety skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ICU nursing care based on established standards and protocols.

• Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKG changes accurately.

• Administer medications IV therapy anticoagulation and critical drips safely.

• Care for ventilated and intubated patients including suctioning and troubleshooting.

• Interpret ABGs pulse oximetry and signs of impaired gas exchange.

• Support hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions.

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning.

• Educate patients and families based on learning needs.

• Document patient care interventions and responses accurately using Meditech.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

• BLS required.

• ACLS required upon hire or must obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days if holding active BLS.

• Previous telemetry experience required.

• ICU experience preferred.

• 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred.

• CCRN preferred.

• Meditech experience preferred.

• Holiday coverage required.

• Strong critical thinking teamwork documentation and patient safety skills required.
