About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Arcata CA. This night shift role supports critical care patients in a hospital setting and requires strong ICU nursing skills clinical judgment and the ability to respond effectively to high-acuity patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Assess monitor and document patient condition and response to treatment
• Administer medications IV therapy and critical care interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate documentation using CPSI/Evident
• Follow infection control patient safety and facility care standards

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU/Critical Care experience required
• Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start required
• CPSI/Evident experience preferred
• Night shift availability required
• Holiday coverage may be required
