Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Duluth Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume Emergency Department. The facility is an Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) certified and Stroke Center certified hospital serving an average of 113 patients per day. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions.

• Perform rapid patient assessments triage and ongoing monitoring.

• Administer medications treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Respond effectively to critical and life-threatening situations.

• Document patient assessments interventions and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.

• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

• Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.

• Previous experience in Stroke Center and ECC-certified facilities.
