Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Monday Sunday (12-hour day shifts)

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions.

Perform rapid patient assessments triage and ongoing monitoring.

Administer medications treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Respond effectively to critical and life-threatening situations.

Document patient assessments interventions and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.

Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
-
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
-
Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department environment.

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.

Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.

Previous experience in Stroke Center and ECC-certified facilities.

General Emergency Department averaging 113 patient visits per day.

Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) certified facility.

Stroke Center certified.

Collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment.

Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.

Day shift assignment: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM.

13-week contract opportunity with potential extension based on facility needs and performance.
