Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe high-quality and patient-centered care in hospitals outpatient clinics skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Accurately document patient assessments interventions and outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report significant changes.
- Collaborate with physicians therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to CNAs and other support staff.
- Supervise nursing activities to ensure quality patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans medications and discharge instructions.
- Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and critical thinking in all patient care situations.
- Promote a positive respectful and culturally sensitive care environment.
- Maintain flexibility with patient assignments floating and staffing needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Active unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum 6 months of recent RN experience.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (ACLS preferred where applicable).
- Negative TB test (as required).
- Successful background check.
- Annual physical examination (if required by the facility).
- Compliance with facility COVID-19 vaccination and screening requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift push pull and support up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to stand walk bend and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.

- Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications.
- Comply with all CMS state facility and Department of Health regulations.
- Adhere to infection control patient safety and confidentiality policies.
- Meet all facility onboarding and credentialing requirements.
Compensation: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour
