Our client an established global manufacturer of kitchen cabinetry and wood products is expanding its presence in the U.S. market and seeking an experienced highly connected Regional Sales Representative to drive new business growth.
This is a true hunter role designed for a sales professional who already understands the cabinetry and building-products market has established customer relationships and knows how to turn those relationships into new revenue.
The initial priority is Texas although our client is also interested in exceptional candidates with strong networks in the Northeast and Southeast.
This opportunity offers significant autonomy and the ability to help build a market rather than inherit a narrowly defined territory. For the right individual there may also be longer-term opportunities to take on broader responsibilities as the U.S. business expands.
You will be responsible for developing new business for our clients ready-to-assemble kitchen cabinetry offering with an emphasis on multifamily and dealer/distributor channels.
Key responsibilities include:
Identify pursue and develop new customers throughout your territory.
Leverage existing relationships with multifamily builders general contractors cabinet dealers distributors and other relevant industry partners.
Develop relationships with dealers looking to expand their businesses establish inventory programs or purchase cabinetry directly from a manufacturer.
Generate new opportunities through proactive prospecting networking referrals and existing industry relationships.
Manage opportunities from initial introduction through pricing negotiation and close.
Work with customers to understand product specifications inventory requirements project needs and replenishment strategies.
Build a sustainable pipeline capable of generating meaningful recurring revenue.
Represent our client professionally in the market and help establish a stronger U.S. presence.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates who bring an established network and can begin opening doors quickly.
Successful candidates will ideally have:
5 years of relevant industry sales experience.
Experience within kitchen cabinetry RTA cabinetry building products multifamily interiors or a closely related category.
Established relationships with multifamily builders general contractors cabinet dealers distributors or dealer representatives.
A demonstrated ability to develop new accounts rather than relying solely on an existing book of assigned business.
Strong prospecting relationship-building negotiation and closing skills.
Experience selling into multifamily and/or dealer-distributor channels.
The ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial growth-oriented environment.
A strong understanding of longer-cycle project sales and relationship-driven business development.
Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on single-family residential sales are not the primary target for this search.
Our client is looking for someone who can materially grow the territory and develop long-term customer relationships.
While there is no rigid historical sales-volume requirement for candidates approximately $3 million in annual FOB sales has been discussed as an initial first-year performance target. The focus will be on building sustainable business rather than simply generating transactional volume.
Our client offers a flexible ready-to-assemble cabinetry program designed to support dealers distributors and multifamily customers.
The product platform uses a two-box system separating finished doors and frames from cabinet boxes with coordinating exterior panels providing the finished appearance. This structure can help customers manage inventory efficiently while supporting multiple finish options.
Customers may purchase directly from the manufacturing source creating an attractive model for dealers and distributors seeking to build inventory and expand their businesses.
For multifamily customers additional logistics capabilities such as storage assembly delivery and installation can be coordinated through established third-party resources when required.

Our client prefers a 1099 independent-contractor structure and is open to developing the compensation package around the strength of the candidate and their relationships.
Two potential structures are being considered:
Base Commission: A modest base combined with a more heavily performance-driven commission structure. Representatives receiving a base would be expected to represent our client exclusively.
Commission Only: A higher-variable structure that may allow established independent representatives to continue representing complementary product lines or brands.
Specific base compensation and commission percentages will be discussed based on experience relationships territory and expected opportunity.
Where a base is provided items such as healthcare or vehicle-related costs may be incorporated into the overall compensation arrangement rather than offered as separate traditional employee benefits.
