Job Summary

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM.

Responsible for installing maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems in various settings.

Essential Functions:
-Install maintain and repair refrigeration systems in various settings.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration systems.
-Ensure that refrigeration systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
-Install and maintain refrigeration piping valves and control systems.
-Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain necessary documentation.
-Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs in a timely manner.


Qualifications

EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degreeNoLicenses and CredentialsHeating and Ventilation Engineer Massachusetts - Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters requiredExperienceCompletion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience 1-2 years preferredKnowledge Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of refrigeration systems including how they work how to diagnose problems and how to repair them. - Familiarity with refrigeration piping valves and control systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and diagrams. - Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. - Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. - Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed. - Valid drivers license.
