Alluvionic is a woman-owned 8(a) certified solutions provider specializing in project management process improvement product development cybersecurity and training services. We provide Project Assurance for every project and are looking for a recruiter who can help us continue building strong teams as we grow.
Position Summary
Alluvionic is seeking an experienced Recruiter to own full lifecycle recruiting across our Commercial Government Services Technology and Corporate business areas.
Our recruiting needs vary across the organization and may include full-time employees government contract positions proposal and contingent recruiting and independent 1099 consultants supporting commercial projects. The ideal candidate understands how to adjust their recruiting approach based on the type of role business need and changing requirements.
This person will manage recruiting activity with a project-management mindset maintain accurate and organized recruiting systems build strong talent pipelines provide clear visibility to stakeholders and contribute to improvements in recruiting processes and workflows.
Responsibilities and Duties

- Own full lifecycle recruiting from initial requirement through candidate selection offer hire or final disposition.
- Support recruiting across Commercial Government Services and Corporate business areas including direct hire 1099 consultant government contract proposal and contingent recruiting.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand position requirements priorities timelines hiring criteria and the business need behind each search.
- Develop and adjust sourcing and recruiting strategies based on the role talent market customer requirements urgency and changing business needs.
- Manage recruiting activity as a project by tracking priorities deadlines risks follow-up actions and stakeholder communication.
- Source qualified candidates through appropriate channels and build passive pipelines for anticipated recurring proposal and difficult-to-fill needs.
- Review applications conduct candidate screens and partner with hiring managers on interviews evaluation criteria candidate selection and next steps.
- Maintain timely professional communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
- Partner with HR and hiring managers on offer strategy compensation considerations start dates candidate negotiations and recruiting documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized recruiting systems trackers and candidate bench data including routine review and cleanup.
- Identify recruiting process gaps inefficiencies or risks and implement practical improvements to workflows systems and reporting.
- Provide hiring managers and leadership with clear recruiting status updates risks and recommended next actions.
- Track meaningful recruiting metrics that reflect pipeline quality proposal readiness candidate engagement responsiveness data integrity and successful execution against business needs.
- Ensure recruiting and selection practices comply with applicable employment laws contractual requirements company policies and recruiting best practices.
- Support recruiting events talent outreach workforce planning and other recruiting or HR initiatives as needed.
- 3 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience required.
- Bachelors degree in HR Business Communications or related field or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
- Government contracting recruiting experience required.
- Experience supporting government contract proposal and contingent recruiting.
- Experience recruiting across multiple types of roles or business environments strongly preferred.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates and developing talent pipelines.
- Experience recruiting independent contractors or 1099 consultants preferred.
- Strong understanding of the differences between traditional corporate recruiting and government contracting recruiting.
- Strong project management organization prioritization and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple searches with competing and changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify next steps and keep recruiting activity moving.
- Experience maintaining applicant tracking systems and recruiting workflows.
- Strong understanding of ATS data integrity candidate dispositioning and pipeline management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and implement practical improvements.
- Strong sourcing interviewing communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage stakeholders and maintain clear communication with hiring managers and leadership.
- Strong judgment attention to detail initiative and sense of ownership.
- Working knowledge of employment laws recruiting compliance requirements and talent acquisition best practices.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts and potential security clearance requirements.
