Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a dependable hardworking and motivated Reconstruction Helper / Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn skilled trades and build a long-term career in the construction restoration and remodeling industry.
In this role you will work alongside experienced reconstruction professionals on residential and commercial restoration projects involving drywall repair painting flooring installation finish carpentry and general construction. What Youll Do
Assist with drywall installation patching repairs and finishing
Help prepare and apply texture finishes
Assist with interior painting touch-ups and wall repairs
Support flooring installation and repair projects including laminate vinyl and other flooring materials
Assist with finish carpentry projects including trim baseboards doors and moldings
Load unload and transport materials and equipment
Perform job site setup cleanup and debris removal
Maintain clean and organized work areas especially in occupied homes and businesses
Learn restoration and reconstruction best practices from experienced technicians
Communicate professionally with homeowners customers and team members
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
What Were Looking For
Construction remodeling handyman painting drywall flooring or carpentry experience is helpful but not required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Dependable punctual and team-oriented
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments
Ability to lift carry and move construction materials throughout the workday
Valid drivers license preferred
Ability to pass a background check
