Hunter Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Reconditioning Technician to inspect diagnose and repair pre-owned vehicles before they are offered for sale. Were seeking a dependable skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of makes and models.

What Youll Do

Vehicle Inspections & Diagnostics

• Perform thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify mechanical electrical and safety concerns.
• Use diagnostic scan tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Evaluate vehicle condition and determine necessary repairs before vehicles are placed for sale.
• Identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate repairs.

Repairs & Quality Control

• Perform light to moderate automotive repairs involving engine components suspension electrical systems and other vehicle systems.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining dealership quality standards.
• Verify completed work and help ensure vehicles are safe and ready for sale.
• Document inspection results repairs performed and additional service needs.

Teamwork & Shop Safety

• Communicate repair findings and recommendations with the service team.
• Work independently while collaborating with other technicians and department staff.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.
• Follow established repair procedures and dealership safety standards.

What Were Looking For

• 2 years of automotive technician experience required.
• Strong mechanical electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience inspecting and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
