Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Prudent seeks a Receptionist/Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at our Syracuse Office. The Receptionist/ Front Desk Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for visitors clients and employees. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations providing administrative support and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. This role would be part-time with the opportunity to grow into full time. The ideal candidate is organized personable and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting.

What youll be able to do:

• Greet and assist visitors clients and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
• Maintain the front desk and common areas to ensure they are organized and presentable
• Schedule appointments meetings and conference room bookings
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail packages and deliveries
• Provide general administrative support such as data entry filing copying and document preparation
• Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Assist with processing insurance requests and providing status updates as needed
• Communicate with internal staff regarding insurance requests when necessary
• Assist with onboarding and other HR-related administrative tasks as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to support daily office operations
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Other duties as assigned.

The minimum requirements we seek:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred)
• 13 years of administrative receptionist or front desk experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid NYS drivers license required
