JOB SUMMARY
The Real Estate Development Coordinator supports MCBs development and community development activities through a combination of project coordination permitting entitlement and zoning support contract and grant administration financial tracking stakeholder communication and administrative support. Working closely with members of the Development team this position will support projects throughout the development lifecycle and gain exposure to areas including project planning consultant management budgeting procurement community engagement financial analysis and construction.

Development & Project Coordination
Support Development team members with the coordination of active real estate development and community development projects including but not limited to VIVA White OakTS1.1 and Century 21 Marketplace
Assist with the preparation organization and tracking of project documents permits approvals agreements schedules correspondence and other project-related materials including the use of Microsoft Project and other project management tools
Participate in project planning and design coordination meetings with consultants; prepare meeting materials capture action items and assist with follow-up.
Coordinate meetings involving internal and external stakeholders including consultants government agencies community organizations and other project partners and assist with logistics such as scheduling securing meeting space preparing materials and coordinating participants.
Support community engagement and outreach activities associated with development projects.
Contracts Consultant Administration & Procurement Support
Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for consultants contractors and other project partners including assembling scopes of work exhibits project information and supporting documentation.
Coordinate distribution of RFPs track responses and deadlines organize submitted proposals and prepare bid summaries cost comparisons and recommendations to support vendor and consultant selection.
Work with outside consultants to draft contracts and prepare for execution in accordance with MCB standards coordinate the approval process with Legal Accounting and Development team members and maintain appropriate documentation.
Budget & Financial Coordination
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project budgets and related tracking schedules.
Prepare monthly draw packages in coordination with Accounting and serve as first line of review in invoice coding and draw approval
Track consultant contracts invoices change orders and expenditures against approved budgets and contract values.
Coordinate with Accounting and Development team members to research and resolve invoice or contract discrepancies.
Administrative Support
Manage scheduling and calendar coordination for Development team meetings with internal and external participants.
Prepare and format presentations reports correspondence meeting materials and other Development-related documents.
Maintain organized electronic project files and provide additional administrative and project support as needs evolve.
KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bachelors degree in real estate finance business economics urban planning construction management or a related field preferred.
03 years of relevant professional experience including internships or early career experience in commercial real estate construction architecture engineering planning finance or project coordination.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with internal teams consultants government agencies community stakeholders and other external partners.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook; experience with Microsoft Project preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is primarily performed in an office setting with extended periods of sitting and computer/keyboard use; reading documents; spreadsheet calculations; phone and other electronic equipment. Typing dexterity needed; minimal lifting (<20 lbs.)
