Keystone Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to support both our Keystone Urgent Care and Keystone Pediatrics Waynesboro locations.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic x-rays as ordered by providers while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to all regulatory requirements. This position ensures that all imaging studies are transmitted to the contracted radiology group for interpretation and final reading. When not actively performing radiologic duties the Radiologic Technologist will assist with clinical and non-clinical activities within their scope of practice to support efficient patient care and practice operations.
The selected candidate must consistently follow radiation safety protocols including wearing a dosimetry (x-ray badge) monitor during work hours and utilizing appropriate techniques to maintain radiation exposure at levels that are As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA). Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology Allied Health Science or a related field from an accredited technical school or hospital-based radiography program.
- Minimum of two (2) years of radiologic technologist experience preferred.
- Current certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist certification as required.
- Thorough knowledge of human anatomy imaging procedures and radiographic technology.
- Current CPR certification required; BLS or ACLS certification preferred.
- Must meet all continuing education requirements established by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of Radiation Protection and provide documentation as required.
- Ability to provide prior radiation exposure records from previous employers before hire.
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills with a commitment to exceptional patient care.
