What Your Day Looks Like:You will operate imaging equipment and assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional heart procedures.

As aRadiology Technologist you will be:

• Preparingand positioning patients monitoring vital signs and EKG rhythms and enforcingstrict radiation safety protocols for staff and patients.
• Running fluoroscopy and X-ray systems to capture real-time images during procedures like angioplasties and angiograms.
• Processingdata assuring optimal imaginghas been achieved prior to discharge of the patient re-imaging as necessary.
• Documenting patient information maintaining detailed records and updating electronic health systems.
• Cleaning and sterilizing tools and equipment before and after each use.

Qualifications:

• Education:Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an AssociateDegree from an accredited institution
• Skills: Customer service communication examination skills patient safety prior experience with CT is preferred but not required
• Licensure/Certification:Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Physical Requirements:Frequent walking standing bending for prolonged periods of time
