Job Title:Radiology Didactic Trainer

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Didactic Trainer to provide classroom and didactic instruction for an 18-month entry-level Radiologic Technology program. The instructor will develop and deliver course content that prepares students for laboratory and clinical competency while supporting program standards student success and continuous curriculum improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned radiography didactic courses covering positioning and procedures radiation physics and protection image production and patient care.
- Develop and maintain course materials aligned with JRCERT Standards ARRT content specifications and current radiologic technology practice.
- Deliver engaging instruction using adult-learning and competency-based education principles.
- Develop and administer objective equitable and documented student assessments.
- Monitor student performance and identify academic difficulties early.
- Provide academic guidance feedback and support to students.
- Review course outcomes and assessment data to identify opportunities for instructional improvement.
- Participate in curriculum development outcomes assessment and continuous-quality-improvement activities.
- Collaborate with program leadership and other faculty to ensure consistency between didactic laboratory and clinical education.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field or equivalent education/training.
- Current unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography R.T.(R).
- Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures positioning radiation protection image production and patient care.
- Knowledge of JRCERT Standards and ARRT content specifications.
- Understanding of adult-learning theory instructional design and competency-based assessment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use standard office applications learning-management systems and educational technology.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced ARRT-registered radiographer with strong technical knowledge and a passion for educating and mentoring future radiologic technologists. Prior teaching clinical education curriculum development or student assessment experience is highly desirable.
Additional Information:
- Schedule: 2025 hours/week.
- Program Start: September 8 2026.
