Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Options include 5x8 or 4x10 schedules Every Other Weekend Required
Local Pay: $2000 $2200 Weekly
Traveler Pay: $2200 $2700 Weekly
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will provide safe and accurate radiographic examinations while delivering compassionate patient care and maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations using proper positioning techniques and technical factors
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently for a variety of imaging procedures
- Utilize immobilization devices and radiation protection measures to ensure patient safety
- Restrict radiation exposure to unaffected body areas using cones and collimating devices
- Perform portable X-ray procedures in patient rooms emergency departments and operating rooms
- Properly identify and label imaging studies according to department protocols
- Process and maintain radiographic images and related documentation accurately
- Prepare contrast media and assist physicians during contrast imaging procedures as needed
- Support patient scheduling record maintenance and other departmental administrative duties
- Assist patients with mobility positioning transfers and comfort during procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies safety guidelines and quality standards
- Active New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license required
- ARRT certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Tech experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication patient care and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including every other weekend
