The Division Quality Process Technician supports manufacturing quality performance by analyzing processes data and product quality metrics to reduce scrap improve efficiency and ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements. This role partners closely with manufacturing engineering and quality teams to identify root causes of quality issues support disposition decisions and implement sustainable improvements that strengthen process capability and product quality.
Must-have/Required skills:
Associates degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years as process/quality technician in manufacturing environment
Experience with data collection and data analysis software and techniques including Excel Access etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent observational and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
Ability to work in teams or independently
Supports root cause analysis on products and processes not meeting specified requirements
Ability to work with manufacturing and engineering on completing sustainable solutions compliant with quality systems and customer agreements
Nice-to-have skills:
JMP or Minitab or SPC XL
PI
Good verbal and written skills
Experience participating in MSAs
Experience providing training to employees on quality systems new procedures corrective actions etc.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Prepare the plant for new product codes and experiments by setting up the correct specifications and wareflow.
Perform disposition of ware by application of attribute quality architectures or PQA by querying and analyzing data.
Perform disposition of ware on quality holds by querying and analyzing data or completing experiments.
Improve efficiency of production operation by supporting efforts in understanding processes measurement capability and product quality architecture.
Participate in MSAs.
Support root cause analysis on products and processes not meeting specified requirements.
Work with manufacturing and engineering on completing sustainable solutions which are compliant with quality system and customer agreements.
Provide training to employees as needed (Quality systems New procedures Corrective Actions etc.).
