Quality Technician I, 3rd Shift

To thrive as a Quality Technician I at Behr you should be detail-oriented and eager to this role youll support manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure products meet quality control standards and drive improvements. No extensive lab experience is required. We provide full training on equipment procedures and systems!

Each day youll receive assignments related to quality checks raw materials or product improvement projects. Youll prepare and analyze samples using lab equipment and perform tests such as viscosity gloss density pH and scrub testing. Youll accurately record results compare samples and maintain documentation so teams can evaluate product performance.

Youll also report any equipment or process issues and help keep the lab clean and organized by maintaining supplies cleaning equipment and supporting basic lab tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail. Accurate testing and recordkeeping are essential to supporting product quality and development efforts.

• A commitment to safety. Following lab safety guidelines and maintaining a clean organized workspace is critical.

• A willingness to learn. Well train you on our lab equipment testing procedures and systems and we value team members who are eager to grow their skills!

• Strong organization and communication skills. Youll work closely with supervisors and team members while documenting results and maintaining clear records.

• Basic computer and technical skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software and experience with SAP is a plus.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

Heres what we offer you:

• A Quality Technician I starts at $27.00/hr. Team members will receive a $0.50/hr increase at 6 months of employment and another $0.50/hr increase at one year of employment.
