What youll do
- Inspect incoming materials first pieces work in process and finished products against drawings specifications and quality standards.
- Use calipers micrometers gauges and other equipment to check dimensions fit appearance and labeling.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain product traceability.
- Identify and contain nonconforming materials communicate concerns and support corrective actions.
- Help investigate recurring defects and improve inspection methods and work instructions.
What youll bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of hands-on quality inspection experience in manufacturing or equivalent demonstrated proficiency.
- The ability to read drawings specifications work instructions and control plans.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 practices and experience using inspection equipment.
- Clear communication sound judgment and a commitment to safe accurate work.
Experience in automotive or another highly controlled manufacturing environment is especially valuable. Familiarity with IATF 16949 VDA 6.3 or computerized quality systems is a plus.
