Together we are Building A Better the Role:As a Quality Intern you will gain hands-on experience supporting quality initiatives and plant operations in a manufacturing environment. You will work alongside Quality and cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues identify potential root causes and support corrective actions and continuous improvement role provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges while developing skills in problem-solving data analysis communication and project management. You will help monitor quality concerns across shifts follow up on open issues communicate findings and status updates and support plant-specific quality projects and You Will Do:Support the Quality team with daily quality activities plant objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist cross-functional teams in investigating quality issues identified during production shifts. Follow up on quality concerns identified during previous shifts to ensure appropriate actions are completed. Help identify document and communicate actual and potential quality issues. Support root-cause investigations and corrective action activities. Track assigned tasks projects and action items to ensure timely completion. Communicate project and issue status to Quality and other cross-functional team members. Assist with data collection analysis reporting and documentation related to quality performance. Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities. Support additional plant-specific quality projects and assignments as You Need To Be Successful:Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges creatively and logically. Strong interpersonal and communication skills including effective verbal written and presentation skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and follow-through skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and adapt to changing business needs. Comfortable working collaboratively with employees and teams across a manufacturing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
