Quality - Metrologist IIGENERAL DESCRIPTIONThis position will be responsible for performing and leading the site calibration actives troubleshooting and scheduling of preventive maintenance and services for the Quality Control Department. Key involvement in problem solving related to measurement outcomes and processes. As well as the training development of Quality Technicians and Quality Inspectors. This person will also be a key contributor in the introduction of new products to the site Site Production Expansion activities and ensuring proper handling of the product nonconformance process. Salary Range $115000.00-$155000.00RESPONSIBILITIES:Assures that the analytical equipment is in good working order and that calibration and maintenance activities are on basic repair and calibration of test equipment such as micrometers and calipers and develops new gauges and testing methods including the design and building of measurement fixtures to meet testing and perform instrument PM and cleanroom certification and in root cause analysis sessions and the implementation of corrective necessary training on analytical instrument operation and maintenance for laboratory for maintaining document traceability analysis of engineering requirements ISO documents related to part measurement and training SOPs WIs Quality Plans and Quality Inspection sheets as review and approve in-house measurement qualification protocols and in the identification of the magnitude of error sources contributing to uncertainty of results to determine reliability of measurement and develop the Quality Inspection personnel in new measurements and in company training of QC inspectors ensuring project assignments are completed to task development of their training plans and ensure competenciesDevelopment of complex fixture design for new and current in the recommendation and purchasing of equipment as well as participation in product development activities by assessing and recommending measurement needs and in the recommendation and purchasing of equipment as well as participation in product development activities by assessing and recommending measurement needs and and recommend analytical instruments to meet the departments projects and tasks as :Attentive to detail accurate and concise.
