Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that materials components and processes meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections documenting findings and working closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail knowledge of inspection methods and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
in the development and implementation of quality control plans inspection procedures and standard operating procedures.
with production engineering and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
compliance with industry regulations safety standards and company quality policies.
non-conforming materials or products and initiate corrective actions as needed.
in internal and external audits as required.
inspections on incoming materials in-process components and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and technical specifications.
a variety of inspection tools such as calipers micrometers gauges and other precision instruments.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1.2 years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
computer skills and experience with data entry or quality documentation systems.
-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001 ACI ASME or AWS (as applicable).
school diploma or GED required associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
in using inspection tools and equipment.
understanding of measurement and test equipment calibration.

Physical Requirements:
to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes gloves safety glasses hearing protection hardhat vest etc.)
reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
stoop kneel or bend on an occasional basis.
use telephone computer system email or other electronic devices to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
will climb stairs ladders etc.
to use hands to grasp lift handle carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
interact with people frequently during a shift/workday.
lift push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis.
sit stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday.
work various shifts including swing night and weekend.
